iPSUM

2013     |     Client: Student Work

Selected to be in the UTS Library Exhibition, iPSUM Magazine was created in response to a brief to create a series of three design magazines. The brand draws from the origin of ‘loren ipsum’ as an enduring placeholder text and its definition as itself/himself/herself. The notion of timelessness and individuality is explored through the motif of circles and a refined yet dynamic typographic treatment. The imagery of each cover captures the fundamental ideas expressed in the issues, e.g. signage as a proxy for clarity and typography in the modern context.
